How about a new beer announcement to send you into the weekend? All of you Detroit taproom visitors will know about this one. Say hello to the 13th release in the taproom Mothership Series:
Detroit Double IPA
Initially developed for our Detroit taproom, Detroit Double IPA raises the bar to what beer fans expect from this beloved hoppy style. Crystal and Magnum hops lend a mild bitterness while a citrusy sweet passionfruit aroma comes courtesy of the Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Those dank hop oils shine on top of a delicate malt backbone. Detroit Double IPA drinks smooth, crisp and satisfying. 8.9% ABV.
Detroit Double IPA will be available in 6-pack bottles in our taprooms beginning July 1 in Grand Rapids and July 2 in Detroit. This release will be exclusive to our two taprooms – no distribution of bottles or draft. Detroit Double IPA will have a taproom retail price of $12/6-pack.
It is preceded by Red’s Rye IPA, Sleeper Cell, MF Donkey Stout, Panther Cub, Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, Cerise, Mucho Lupu, Pale Joe, Oktoberfest, French Toast Bastard and Devil Dancer in the Mothership Series.
