Sixpoint Releasing Spritzer Bomb & Super Baja Jammer 4/14

Sixpoint Releasing Spritzer Bomb & Super Baja Jammer 4/14From Sixpoint:

We’ve got two new releases coming your way on shelves across our network.
The first up is
SPRITZER BOMB, the third iteration of our ongoing collaboration with Sloop Brewery in New York. This time around, we’re bringing one of the original collab formulations to our full network. This one combines the Hazy IPA techniques of both breweries with the use of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which are a perfect compliment for the seriously juicy Hazy IPA profile. The wine adds a mild twang to the finish that makes this an incredibly refreshing Hazy IPA and extremely easy to drink even at the high ABV.
Next up:
SUPER BAJA JAMMER is exactly what it sounds like...a JAMMER AMPED UP to 8.0% ABV, with the tart and tangy refreshment of the original JAMMERS, and complex, proprietary fruit blends. Baja features super refreshing strawberry, kiwi, and lime juice.

We’re kicking off the release of these beers a bit differently this time.

We’re going to do an inaugural ‘first tapping’ (aka live tasting in a social distanced world) tomorrow night in the TAPROOM LIVE Facebook group at 6pm. Justin, head brewer from @sloopbrewingco is going to make a guest appearance to taste Spritzer Bomb with us. We’ll also crack some Super Baja Jammer: the perfect desert island beer for when the desert island is your living room.

SPRITZER BOMB

8.0% ABV
Hazy IPA with Sauvignon Blanc Grapes
It’s a beautiful thing.
When brewers can get together, draw on their existing expertise and make something unique and absolutely delicious. Sloop and Sixpoint have come together over the years to make four versions of these collaborative IPAs, drawing from the source material of Sloop’s iconic Juice Bomb, combined with Sixpoint’s foray into grain-grape combinations in the small batch Spritzer series. Spritzer Bomb is all the juice of a serious hazy IPA with the tingly finish of sauvignon blanc grapes. Bombs away!
Our breweries first came together for small batch releases in the summer of 2018. We took our Spritzer series of beers, which featured easy drinking wine creations, and combined it with their epic Juice Bomb Hazy IPA. Then we went Atomic and stepped up the ABV the following year... now we're taking this unique formulation to our full network. Cheers!

SUPER BAJA JAMMER

8.0% ABV
Tangy SUPER Gose with Strawberry, Kiwi, and Lime
The arid sun beats down upon your head. Coarse, dusty sand crunches beneath your feet. Vultures circle and squawk overhead. What’s that in the distance…? Could those really be strawberries and kiwis just over the horizon? Could it even be real? The very idea of an 8% beer packed with insanely refreshing strawberry, kiwi, and lime…it sounds too good to be true.
Go for it. Trust us. The oasis awaits.
