Oskar Blues Can’d Aid Responding to COVID w/ Clean Drinking Water

imageFrom Oskar Blues:

We BELIEVE in the power of people. We believe human beings are wired to connect, communicate and contribute, especially during this unprecedented time of isolation and fear. With a global pandemic forcing all of us to slow down there is an opportunity to reflect. We believe there’s never been a better time to practice and demonstrate empathy. Can’d Aid is adjusting to this new normal by finding impactful and authentic ways to do good and increase connection, even if it is virtual.  Over the next several weeks, we’ll share our “Dose of Do-Goodery” programs with you and hope they inspire you to join our efforts or come up with some of your own.

Today, in partnership with Ball Corporation, CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective and Atlas Copco, we shipped 48,000 cans of clean drinking water to the Food Bank of the Rockies. We will continue to work with our partners to can more water and distribute it to hardest hit communities across the country. Coronavirus has leveled the playing field and it is clear that we are all in this together.

Just $240 buys a pallet and $10 buys a case of water for families in need. If you are able to support today’s dose of do-goodery, please donate here.

Thank you for your ongoing support. These are unparalleled times and we need connection with one another more than ever. Stay safe and please stay in touch with us.

We hope to see you soon,

Diana Ralston
