The celebration of Belgian style beers enters its 14th year

West Chester, PA (January 25, 2020) – Once again, Belgian beer reigns supreme at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant West Chester. Belgium Comes to West Chester returns for its 14th year, providing its loyal fan base with a wealth of Belgian-style beers from a number of local breweries, including Troeg’s, Sly Fox and 2SP.

In sticking with its traditional program, guests will be encouraged to sample from 4 carefully curated flights for $20 (found here) that include 4 oz. tasters of their favorite light and crisp classic. Want to stick with one at a time? 12 oz. and 16 oz. pours will be available on a pay as you go basis. Iron Hill West Chester will also be featuring a Belgian inspired chef’s table weekly feature, available from January 24th to January 30th (menu found here).

This year, members of the King of The Hill rewards club will be given access to the exclusive Brewer’s Lounge, where local representatives from participating breweries will be available to discuss all things Belgian beer. Additionally, King of the Hill members will be able to sample exclusive Iron Hill Belgian beers, including Iron Hill Voorhees’s “Big P.O.P.P.A” (ABV: 9.0%), a tropical barrel aged sour with copious amounts of pineapple, orange and passionfruit, Iron Hill North Wales’ “Fields of Gold” (ABV: 7.2%), a medium bodied Belgian Blond Ale, Iron Hill Rehoboth’s “Cherry Bedotter” (ABV: 9.3%), their award-winning Tripel with the addition of tart, Michigan Montmorency cherries and Iron Hill Center City’s “Honey Saison” (ABC: 7.1%), brewed with orange blossom honey for a bright and earthy finish.

“This is our favorite event of the year!”, says Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant West Chester’s Head Brewer Justin Low. “While haze may be the craze with beer these days, we find that our community of Belgian style loyalists come back year after year to celebrate with us and other local breweries.”

For this celebration, 9 Iron Hill locations will contribute a Belgian-style beer of their own. To see the full list of beers offered from Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant visit here.

About Iron Hill

Named after the historic Revolutionary War landmark in Delaware, where General George Washington battled the British, Iron Hill is among the most enduringly successful craft brewers in the United States, with over 20 years of award-winning recognition at national and international competitions.

Founded by home brewers Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson and restaurateur Kevin Davies in Newark, DE in 1996, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has blossomed from one restaurant and brewery to 16 locations up and down the East Coast, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and South Carolina. Each brewery/restaurant has their own scratch kitchen and craft brewery, allowing individual chefs and brewers the creativity to pair the freshest ingredients with the highest quality grains and hops. For 23 years, Iron Hill has incorporated beer in everything they do. As a result, Finn, Edelson and Davies are viewed as innovative business leaders in their home state of Delaware and in the Mid-Atlantic region. They started Iron Hill at a time when small breweries were just beginning to gain mass appeal around the country and their entrepreneurial, forward thinking helped build them into what they are to date. Each individual location has its own head brewer. Each location dedicates itself to the freshest ingredients and friendly atmosphere for all age groups – helping change overall perceptions about brewpubs one meal, one pint, one community at a time.
