This morning we have a new collaboration coming from Harpoon Brewery in Boston, MA. This is Don’t Poke The Bear and it will be brewed with Boston Bruin hockey’s Chris Wagner. The beer will be a black & GOLD-en ale that checks in at 5.14%-AbV and ‘29 IBU. This is the 16oz can and stay tuned for release info.

As we head into the playoff push, we're excited to announce Don’t Poke the Bear – a black and gold-en ale we brewed with B's hockey player and MA native Chris Wagner! Brewed with a touch of black honey and golden promise malt, Don’t Poke the Bear is a crushable black and gold-en ale with a bright hoppy nose and just a faint hint of sweetness.
We'll be tapping the first keg of Don't Poke the Bear before puck drop at our Black & Gold Launch Party on Wednesday, 2/12 from 5PM - 8PM at the Harpoon Beer Hall. For every case sold, we'll be donating a portion of proceeds to the Corey C. Griffin Foundation.
Don't Poke the Bear will be shipping throughout New England and other select markets starting next week so keep an eye on our Beer Finder.
