Belgian Style Quad Aged in Oregon Pinot Noir Barrels
We are excited to announce the release of Robot & Windmills. Brewed with our friend Menno Olivier from Brouwerij de Molen in 2016, this huge Belgian Quad was aged for over two years in Oregon Pinot Noir barrels. The results are a rich, luscious beer layered with notes of pinot, stone fruit, maple, and coconut. 10.6%
$10 per bottle, 6 bottles per person. We will also be pouring a limited amount on tap at Gigantic.
Refillable Bottle Event at Function PDX Jan 17-26
New Refillable Bottle Program
Gigantic recently made the transition to using OBRC Refillable bottles. Gigantic, Buoy, Double Mountain Coopers Hall Winery and Worthy will come together at Function in NW Portland for 10 days of bottle releases, specialty draft options, and education about what brings them together – Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative’s Refillable Bottle Program.
BottleDrop Refillable bottles are unique glass bottles that can be washed and refilled up to 25 times, making them the most sustainable package for craft beverages. The bottles are made locally from recycled glass and are exclusive to the state of Oregon. Each bottle is marked with “BottleDrop Refillable” on the glass as well as the label to make it easy for the consumer to recognize. Once washed and thoroughly inspected, the bottles are re-distributed back to the participating beverage producers.
January 24th is Gigantic Night where we will release Shake & Shimmy IPA and pour samples of beers in our MASSIVE! Barrel Aged Barleywine series. Shake and Shimmy is a new move that's sure to please! Get down with a juicy groove created when citrusy Calista, Citra, Simcoe and Cascade hops, flaked oats and milk sugar come together for a flavor party. Gigantic will also be available on tap and in bottles at Function throughout the event.
