From Monday Night:
Jill Matherson joins growing team at Atlanta-based brewery
ATLANTA, GA. (December 19, 2019) – Jill Matherson has joined the Monday Night Brewing team as Director of People and Culture. In this role, she will oversee all talent management and work directly with the executive team to strengthen and solidify the culture of the Atlanta-based brewery, recently named one of the top workplaces in the city.
In just a couple of years, we’ve moved from a small company with just a few employees, to a much larger organization - with multiple locations,” said Monday Night Brewing co-founder and CEO Jeff Heck. “We value our employees and the culture we’ve built so far, and know it can be a challenge maintaining that as we grow. We’re fortunate Jill is now on the team to make sure we’re living up to our core values as a company.”
Matherson joined the team having previously worked as the Area Manager at IKEA, where she spent many years in leadership training and ensuring IKEA was a great place to work. She is known for her ability to achieve business results through people.
"The culture at Monday Night Brewing was why I joined. I wanted to be part of this valued team - learning and growing together to make us the best brewery in Atlanta and beyond!” said Matherson.
Monday Night Brewing distributes its craft beer across Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. The brewery also boasts two taprooms in Atlanta. A third location is scheduled to open in Birmingham, Alabama in early 2020.
