From Hill Farmstead:
Join us on Weds., 11 December, for the release of a new batch of Flora Cherry and a new selection in our Leaves of Grass series.
Also, a reminder that we will be open 12-3 this Saturday, closing early for our staff holiday party. Thanks!
Flora Cherry 2018
We selected a puncheon and several wine barrels of Flora and aged it on a blend of Balaton and Montmorency cherries from the 2018 harvest year, all grown at Burtt's Orchard in Cabot, Vt
Flora is the wine barrel-aged version of Florence (1915-1967), our grandfather's sister as well as the name of our Farmstead® wheat ale.
Leaves of Grass: January 25, 2019
Our Leaves of Grass beers are produced on our 5 hectoliter pilot system, conditioned in wood, and often employ uniquely different processes and ingredients than our regular releases. This particular Farmstead® ale was conceived as an internal collaboration and educational opportunity for our brewing team. It was brewed with organic spelt, organic oats, and hops from our neighbors at Whitefield Hop Yard [LINK] in East Hardwick, then allowed to age for nearly five months in an oak puncheon.
Visit our website's retail shop page for bottle limits and pricing information (credit card and matching ID required for both of these bottles). We will have fresh cans of Society & Solitude #4, as well as a full selection of cans and bottles including Anna, Arthur, Florence, Brother Soigné, Civil Disobedience #27, as well as cans of Mary, Society & Solitude #5, Mosaic Single Hop IPA, Citra® Single Hop IPA!
