Boulevard Releasing Brewhouse One Blackberry Farm Collaboration: Imperial Dark Saison

Boulevard Releasing Brewhouse One Blackberry Farm Collaboration: Imperial Dark SaisonFrom Boulevard:

‘Tis the season to celebrate traditional Belgian Holiday Ales. This well-loved style is as integral to the holidays as Santa Claus, menorahs and mistletoe. Bursting with aromas of Belgian yeast, citrus and dark malts, a true Belgian Holiday Ale makes the perfect companion to any Holiday celebration.

We here at Boulevard are no strangers to brewing a world-class saison but we also abide by the motto: “game respects game.” In that spirit we invited our friends from Blackberry Farm Brewery in Tennessee to come to town to collaborate on a unique saison that would make our Holiday Ale the most special part of your holiday season.

This Imperial Dark Saison is brewed with a wide variety of specialty grains that offer flavor elements of spice, chocolate and sweet bread. Orange peel offers both a bright citrus note and a nod to tradition, while our house Belgian yeast adds a phenolic cinnamon-and-pepper aroma.
