Anheuser-Busch’s BABE Wine is Crashing Your Football PartyFrom Anheuser-Busch:

The Official Wine Sponsor of the NFL to be available in 12 Stadiums this season

New York, NY (October 30, 2019) – You deserve some wine this football season. BABE, the delicious, take-anywhere sparkling wine in a can offers a Rosé, Pinot Grigio and Red that will be available at 12 stadiums across the country and will be activating at team tailgates throughout the season.

The most photographed wine on Instagram, BABE, was founded in 2016 by Josh "The Fat Jewish" Ostrovsky, and brothers David Oliver Cohen and Tanner Cohen. In 2018, BABE joined Anheuser-Busch when the company’s global growth and innovation group, ZX Ventures, acquired a minority stake in the company. In June of this year, Anheuser-Busch acquired the remaining stake in BABE.

“Wine hasn’t typically been a top pick when it comes to sporting events in-stadium or at home, but BABE is changing all that by bringing a fun, easy, and portable option to game day,” said David Oliver Cohen, Co-Founder of BABE. “Building on Anheuser-Busch’s long-standing relationship with the NFL, we have seized a unique opportunity for BABE to become the football wine the world has been waiting for.”

To highlight the fun and sometimes irreverent side of football, the brand released a video starring Kayla Nicole, on-camera host and girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce. In the spot, she can be seen fully clad in football gear tackling a pretentious sommelier and announcing BABE as the “football wine” we’ve all been waiting for. See the video here

“Building winning brands for every occasion and delivering on evolving consumer tastes is at the heart of our company’s commercial strategy,” said Chelsea Phillips, VP of Marketing for Beyond Beer, Anheuser Busch. “We are proud to be bringing more choices to football fans everywhere with BABE’s addition to the Anheuser-Busch portfolio.”

Fans can expect to see BABE partnerships with the Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, and other NFL Clubs. Additionally, the brand will be activating throughout the season including the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl.
