Saint Arnold New Year-Round Lager Guten Tag Debuts This Week / New Honey Agave Cider

Saint Arnold New Year-Round Lager Guten Tag Debuts This Week / New Honey Agave CiderFrom Saint Arnold:

We're coming up on fall, a great time to be outdoors, and a great time to enjoy some classic beer styles, including the Märzen. This week, we're launching our very own, and we didn't want to limit ourselves. This one isn't just a fall seasonal - you can enjoy Guten Tag all year long.

Guten Tag is a traditional Bavarian-style lager with a crisp and clean flavor. The malt provides a nice toasty and bready complexity through the use of decoction, while the hops are restrained to allow a soft and elegant finish. Guten Tag comes in at 5.8% ABV and 21 IBU.

If this beer sounds familiar, it should. It was originally released in the fall of 2017 as a part of our Icon series. It became a fan (and employee!) favorite, and after two years of craving it, we decided to bring it back.

Guten Tag will be available starting Friday, September 6 in six packs of 12 oz cans at your favorite beer-getting' place and on tap at bars and restaurants across town.

A Match Made in Texas:
Our New Honey Agave Cider is Also Available This Week

For the newest addition to our cider lineup, we teamed up again with Burleson's Honey in Waxahachie, Texas to source the key ingredient. Their honey - along with agave - sweetens our new Honey Agave Cider. It tastes great, and the fact that Burleson's is an independent, family-owned Texas company is icing on the cake.

This cider has a bright apple flavor and aroma, along with big floral, melon, and citrus notes. The honey and agave combine to create a nice sweetness, complementing the tart apple flavor and delivering a balanced finish.

Honey Agave Cider is 5.9% ABV and gluten free. It's available now on tap around town and on shelves in six packs of 12 oz cans.
