From River North:
Since having to forcibly relocate out of its namesake neighborhood in 2015, River North Brewery has continually worked to find a location back in RiNo.
Now, nearly four years later, the brewery is finally coming home.
On July 13th at 12pm, River North will officially open its new flagship taproom at 3400 Blake Street in the RiNo district of Denver. Our Grand Opening Homecoming Party will be held July 27th, starting at 12pm, and is sure to top anything the brewery has thrown before.
First established in 2012, River North was the first in the latest wave of breweries to call RiNo home. As the neighborhood grew around them, River North’s original location was sold off to make way for high-rise apartments. On short notice the brewery relocated a few miles North, outside of the neighborhood – but always planned to return. With this second location, River North will now simultaneously be both the oldest and newest brewery in RiNo.
The new flagship taproom at 3400 Blake Street features a seven-barrel brewhouse, separate private events space, and expansive South-facing patio. The brewery plans to use this location as a small-batch research lab to develop new recipes and explore new styles – it will primarily feature pilot beers.
But River North will still maintain its current location at 6021 Washington Street. In addition to brewing all of River North’s year-round core beers, the taproom will host private events and bottle releases, as well as offering a more low-key option for the brewery’s regulars.
As independent Denver brewers established in 2012, River North Brewery crafts #AdventureFuel only available in Colorado, with a full lineup of crushable cans and cellar-worthy bottles. Like the brewery at facebook.com/rivernorthbrewery or follow and tag @rivernorthbrew on Twitter and Instagram.
We hope to see you this weekend and moving forward at our new flagship taproom location!
