This morning we have a new collaboration beer coming from Wicked Weed in Asheville, NC. This is Floresca and it will be a collaboration with AB/InBev sibling 10 Barrel Brewing. The beer will be a salted peach American sour ale that is aged (for months) in pink Tequila barrels that previously held Wicked Weed Oaxacan Sour Ale. The beer is then refermented on peaches with pink sea salt added (from Ashville’s Celtic Sea Salt). This is the 500ml bottle and the beer will roll in at 5.5%-AbV. As a bonus I’ve added in the new 500ml non-collaboration bottles for Cerise Morte barrel-aged American sour ale fermented with Montmorency cherries (4-pounds per gallon, 6.1%-AbV) and Framboos Morte barrel-aged American sour ale fermented with raspberries (4-pounds per gallon, 6.4%-AbV).
