STUCK TRAVELING IN THE MIDDLE SEAT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON? STELLA ARTOIS IS STEPPING IN TO HELP MAKE HOLIDAY TRAVEL MORE ENJOYABLE DURING ONE OF THE WORST TRAVEL TIMES OF THE YEARFrom Anheuser-Busch & Stella Artois:

NEW YORK, December 3, 2018 - It’s no secret that holiday travel can be rough and getting stuck in the middle seat is a real pain - in fact more than half of Millennials would rather pay a visit to the dentist (58%) and 48% would even prefer to talk politics with family over the holidays than fly in the middle seat[1]. Nevertheless, it’s oftentimes worth the pain to get home to the people that matter most.  Stella Artois agrees and that’s why the brand is stepping in this holiday season to make the travel experience better for lucky consumers this year.

Starting today, Stella Artois is taking to social media to upgrade travelers’ experiences by offering flight upgrades, free rides home and other surprises to frustrated holiday travelers who share their grievances with the brand online. After all, Stella Artois believes anyone willing to brave the middle seat to be present with their loved ones deserves some recognition and rewards.

“Stella Artois knows holiday travel can be painful, but at the end of the day it’s worth it to spend time with the ones you love,” said Lara Krug, Vice President, Stella Artois. “That’s why this holiday season, to make sure people can create those moments that matter, we’re giving away flight upgrades, rides home and more to help make the travel experience a little better. Our hope is this will help people focus on what really matters - enjoying moments with friends and family... with a Stella Artois in hand.”

To kick things off, Stella Artois helped a few lucky people get home to the loved ones they felt were worth sitting in the middle seat for, surprising them with an upgraded ticket home just in time for the holidays. To view the video, visit Stella Artois’ YouTube here. You could be next. From full-on flight upgrades for your return trip, to a membership pass that lets you skip the airport security line or complimentary car service to complete your trip… and even tickets to see the latest show or game with loved ones once you’ve arrived, Stella Artois will be doling out daily upgrades via social media all month long.

Feeling bleak about your upcoming travels? Follow @StellaArtois and share a photo of your travel woes with the hashtags #StellaUpgrade and #Contest on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter between today and December 21 for a chance to win.
