Starr Hill Announces 2019 Release Calendar

Starr Hill Announces 2019 Release CalendarFrom Starr Hill:
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA  – (December 12, 2018) Starr Hill Brewery embarks on its 20th Year with a fresh lineup for 2019, featuring thirteen new beers, numerous Pilot Brewery releases, and their first ever kettle-sour series.
In rotation will be old and new classics like Front Row Golden Ale, the return of crowd-pleasers like Looking Glass IPA, new Summer and Winter Seasonal brews, and rare All Access Series limited releases. Sellout sensation Box of Chocolates Stout Variety Pack will return with new variations. Starr Hill will also debut specialty variety pack Hopped As Hell in late Summer 2019 containing a wide palette of refreshing India Pale Ale styles.
To make room for the upcoming additions to the Starr Hill lineup, two year-round brands will be phased out in January 2019: Double Platinum Imperial IPA and Jomo Vienna Lager. These beers, beloved as they are by retail visitors, will still appear on rotation at the Crozet and Roanoke tap rooms.
Fans of the craft brewery can also anticipate surprises in the New Year! To celebrate two-decades in Virginia, Starr Hill teases reprised beers, special events, and news of some major developments.
Some of Starr Hill Brewery’s notable 2019 releases:
The newest Sour Series features kettle-soured brews that pack a sweet, fruit punch. Say It Ain’t Sour

  • Raspberry American Sour is an extremely low-hopped, kettle-soured wheat ale. With raspberry puree and slightly higher carbonation, this is a tart, effervescent, and refreshing “anytime” brew.
  • Lime Gose with details to be announced.
  • Passionfruit Gose with details to be announced.
  • Guava Gose with details to be announced.
An easy-drinking Blonde Ale with emphatic hop aroma & flavor (and never-before-used hops) will launch in early May as Starr Hill’s Summer seasonal, replacing The Hook Grapefruit Session IPA.
All Access Series showcases some of the Starr Hill’s most unique and inspired beers. Each release in this series will be available for a limited time only on draft, with some available in 16oz. cans.

  • Kelis Milkshake IPA (January) has the perfect blend of lactose sugar and citrus-forward hops with tangerine and orange flavors, and a slight caramel finish. Sure to bring all the drinkers to the yard! Draft only.
  • New England IPA (April) with details to be announced.
  • Deep Fuzz Double IPA (July) puts on show of succulent, lupulin goodness with a soft mouthful and medium body. We add loads of juicy hops at just the right time to emphasize tropical flavor and aroma with balanced bitterness.
  • Little Red Roostarr Coffee Cream Stout (October) is a full-bodied milk stout with chocolate, caramel and coffee notes from beans roasted by Red Rooster in Floyd, VA.
Late Summer in Virginia it’s Hopped As Hell. Cool off with one of four new IPAs from Starr Hill’s latest bold variety 12-pack:
  • Shade, a hopped ale with the shadow of a Belgian Wit.
  • Swim, a hazy, juicy wave of refreshment.
  • AC, a breeze of an Amarillo Citra IPA.
  • Mountain Air, a West-Coast style, pinnacle of an imperial IPA.
