From Great Lakes Brewing:
EMPLOYEE-INSPIRED GREAT LAKES IPA JOINS YEAR-ROUND PORTFOLIO, NEW SEASONALS
CLEVELAND, OH Dec. 19, 2018—Great Lakes® Brewing Company (GLBC) announces a fresh lineup including the brand new year-round Great Lakes IPA, cocktail-inspired Buckin’ Mule Moscow Mule Ale, and the Moses Mix Variety Pack, featuring Holy Moses White Ale alongside two variants.
YEAR-ROUND GREAT LAKES IPA PAYS TRIBUTE TO EMPLOYEE-OWNERS
The new Great Lakes IPA is brewed with lemon peel, Mosaic, Lemondrop, Azacca, and Simcoe hops. This refreshing dry-hopped, citrus-forward American IPA joins GLBC’s year-round portfolio in 6-Packs, 12-Packs, and Draft beginning March, 2019. Its label, created by illustrator Sam Hadley, features portraits of GLBC employees who are now owners thanks to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) introduced by founders Patrick and Daniel Conway in 2018.
BUCKIN’ MULE MOSCOW MULE ALE DEBUTS
Developed by GLBC’s Operations team on the brewery’s new 2-barrel pilot system, Buckin’ Mule Moscow Mule Ale takes its inspiration from the Moscow Mule cocktail. Brewed with fresh ginger, lime peel, rye, and Citra hops, the unique unfiltered seasonal beer debuts in June, 2019 in 4-Packs and Draft. Its playful label illustrated by artist Sam Hadley features a bucking mule in a Western-inspired scene complete with ginger cacti and a lime sunset.
INTRODUCING MOSES MIX VARIETY PACK
Holy Moses White Ale is once again available year-round in 2019, and Holy Moses Raspberry White Ale returns as GLBC’s May seasonal. The two beers will join Midnight Moses Dark Belgian-Style Ale in a brand new Moses Mix Variety Pack 12-Pack, available for a limited time in May, 2019. Formerly a GLBC pub exclusive beer, Midnight Moses combines Holy Moses White Ale’s orange peel and coriander with black malt, bringing rich chocolatey flavors to the Belgian-style Wit’s spicy, citrusy, and effervescent profile.
CANS RETURN IN NEW PACKAGES
Lightkeeper Blonde Ale returns year-round in 12 oz. can 6-Packs. Rally Drum Red Ale and Moondog ESB also return in 2019, now available in 16 oz. can 4-Packs. Rally Drum Red Ale releases in April, just in time for baseball season. Moondog ESB releases in September.
GLBC 4-PACKS SPORT NEW DESIGN, “LEGENDARY SERIES” DISTINCTION
GLBC’s seasonal 4-Packs will feature updated Legendary Series branding and packaging. The Legendary Series name and design elements complement the mythological stories and premium nature of these cult favorites: Chillwave Double IPA, Lake Erie Monster Imperial IPA, Buckin’ Mule Moscow Mule Ale, Nosferatu Imperial Red Ale, and Blackout Stout Imperial Stout. Lake Erie Monster Imperial IPA will also feature ferocious new label artwork by illustrator Sam Hadley.
