Here’s your first peek at a new barrel-aged beer coming to bottles (and kegs) from Westbrook Brewing in Mt. Pleasant, SC. This is Fruit Wood Time Passionfruit Rum Barrel Finish and it is a blend of mixed-fermentation sour beers from two oak foeders. The resulting blend is aged in 400-liter Barbados Rum puncheons and refermented with passionfruit for 6-months. The beer will hit 6.6%-AbV and you’re looking at the 16.7oz bottle.
