Anheuser-Busch Sending Six Truckloads of Emergency Drinking Water to California for Wildfire Relief

Anheuser-Busch Sending Six Truckloads of Emergency Drinking Water to California for Wildfire ReliefFrom Anheuser-Busch:

At the request of the American Red Cross, Anheuser-Busch is sending six truckloads – more than 300,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to communities in California affected by the recent wildfires.

Two truckloads were delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partners Markstein Beverage Co. in Sacramento on Monday night.  Four additional truckloads will be delivered on Tuesday afternoon to Pacific Beverage Co. (Oxnard, CA) and Anheuser-Busch Sales of LA (Sylmar, CA) who will work with their local chapters of the American Red Cross to distribute the emergency drinking water to those affected by the wildfires.

As always, employee well-being is the primary concern. Anheuser-Busch is working closely with its teams across the state to ensure the safety of employees and continues to closely monitor the situation.

This donation will be transported from Anheuser-Busch’s Fort Collins, Colorado brewery, which joined the emergency water program in September, to enable the brewer to support communities in need from coast to coast more quickly.

For over 30 years, Anheuser-Busch has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide emergency drinking water for disaster relief efforts. Since 1988, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have provided more than 80 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters nationwide.
