ABOUT THE BEER

This beer is the culmination of a journey that began on our Stone World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station 10bbl brewhouse. The Notorious P.O.G. was first served at Hop-Con 4.0, as a collaboration brewed with actor/comedian Jonah Ray and our very own Kris Ketcham, Sr. Manager of Brewing & Innovation - Liberty Station. It had the longest line throughout the night, and we knew we owed it to our fans to brew this on a larger scale. For those unfamiliar with Hawaiian juice lore, P.O.G. stands for Passion, Orange, Guava.

    TASTING NOTES
    • Appearance: Hazy, gold, and a fluffy white head.
    • Aroma:  Intense, bright, and fresh real fruit. Pleasant hints of orange blossom honey that round out this explosive fruit aroma.
    • Taste:  Very, very fruity! Guava, pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange. A truly amazing blend of intense fruit flavors.
    • Palate: Lingering sweet finish. Tart and refreshing.
    • Overall: Kris Ketcham, Sr. Manager Brewing & Innovation – Liberty Stations sums up this beer the best, “a cocktail of epic beer proportions!” Every time Kris has brewed this beer it has been highly sought after.
