From Sixpoint:
ON SALE MONDAY JULY 16 @ NOON EDT ONLY THROUGH THE SIXPOINT APP
This month’s release is about the refreshing quality of a fine spritz—where beer formulation and wine cross paths.
We’re dropping Spritzer, a tangy grissette with tons of white wine grapes. It’s tart, effervescent, and super repeatable. We dreamed up the Spritzer concept a few months back and have gone through several pilot iterations… then when we talked to the Sloop crew, we decided to take it to the next level. Spritzer Bomb: White is a riff on Sloop’s infamous Juice Bomb IPA blended with our Spritzer: a genuine collab original and our first canned collaboration release! This beer pairs three hop strains with three types of white wine grapes for a complex NEIPA experience. The release is rounded out with the revival of Stun Gun Sour IPA (with an updated recipe), this time loaded with pineapple and mango puree. Next month we’ll be heading up to Sloop's new location to brew the counterpart Spritzer Bomb: Red using all red wine grapes.
Spritzer
Style: Dry-Hopped Semi-Sour Grisette Ale with Sauvignon Blanc Grapes
ABV: 5.1%
Description: Spritzer is a frosty, spritzy, light and tangy brew with a distinct vineous quality. Brewed with a french farmhouse yeast strain, Sauvignon Blanc grapes, and delicately laced with Nelson Sauvin, Hallertau Blanc and Citra hops, this beer is absolutely essential summer sipping.
Spritzer Bomb: White
Style: NEIPA with White Wine Grapes
ABV: 7.3%
Description: Our zippy Spritzer formulation meets Sloop’s famous Juice Bomb IPA to form Spritzer Bomb. We married three hop strains into three wine varietals to create synergies and a complex profile: Citra’s potent passionfruit notes blend with Sauvignon Blanc. Then we took Enigma’s pungent tropical complexity, to stack up to Gewurztraminer, and the lush peach notes in Moscato pair beautifully with Vic Secret’s soft tropical character.
Stun Gun
Style: Sour IPA w/ Mango & Pineapple Puree
ABV: 6.0%
Description: Pew pew pew! Stun Gun is a tropical blast of mango and pineapple puree combined with a serious hop aroma—then it shocks you on the back end with a tangy finish.
