From Long Trail:
April has come and gone, so our sights are set on the warmer weather that's been popping up around Bridgewater Corners. April showers delivered some special beers from our pilot brewery including a Mud Season Brown Ale and an IPA called Dope Flowers.
The brew crew have been cranking out new recipes that we're sharing on a weekly basis. These small batches typically disappear quickly so we made a bigger batch of Cooperator IPA to spread out.
We had plans to release another super limited batch of our hemp ale around the end of April, but The Man decided the key ingredient (CBD) shouldn’t be used in craft beer. A bummer, yes, but we’re excited about the due diligence that resulted in Cooperator.
Submitted for your approval, Cooperator is a slightly hazy IPA created in cooperation with the Feds and loaded with greens. Idaho 7 and El Dorado hops work together and burst with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, papaya and melon, with a hint of berry and tons of due diligence.
These new-to-us hops are so complex and tasty that the brew crew have been walking around with perma-smiles for the past couple of weeks.
This limited IPA is now pouring at the brewery, with six-packs of cans available to go.
