Here’s another new barrel-aged fruited beer coming from Westbrook Brewing. This is Fruit Wood Time Black Currant and it is a blend of 50% dry sherry cask-matured mixed fermentation saison and 50% oak foudre-aged sour beer. the resulting beer was refermented with black currants for 4-months in 3rd use 500-liter Marsala wine puncheons before being packaged in 23oz bottles. This beer hits 6%-AbV and stay tuned here for release info.
