Colorado Springs, CO - Left Hand Brewing Company will launch its limited-release IPA Pride Runs Deep on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at N3 Taphouse in Colorado Springs. Pride Runs Deep is the official beer of the USS Colorado Commissioning Committee, and all of Left Hand’s proceeds from the sale of Pride Runs Deep go directly to support the crew of the USS Colorado (SSN-788).

Pride Runs Deep is brewed in recognition of the men and women who proudly serve our country. From the highest peaks to the depths of the world’s oceans, they serve to protect our freedom. This amber, medium-bodied IPA was brewed with Vienna oats malt, Chinook hops, and Colorado Blue Spruce tips.
This event kicks off the count down to the USS Colorado (SSN-788) Commissioning on March 17, 2018.

General Information:
The commissioning ceremony is a time-honored tradition that marks the point where the ship becomes an official unit of the Navy. The USS Colorado (SSN-788) will be the 4th US naval vessel to bear the proud name Colorado. Naming a ship remains a great honor. The last USN ship named for Colorado was the battleship USS Colorado (BB-45) which was decommissioned in 1947.
The USS Colorado (SSN-788) Commissioning Committee is an authorized 501C3 organization dedicated to supporting USS Colorado’s Commissioning and crew.
The Navy League of the United States is a civilian non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization. The Colorado Springs Council missions include (a) supporting Sea Service men and women, their units, and their families, (b) advancing youth programs including the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, (c) educating the American public and their leaders about the importance of maritime power to the national security and economic stability the United States, and (d) supporting youth higher education pursuits through scholarships.
