Dogfish Head Awarded Top Honors as One of the Best Brewery Tours in the NationFrom Dogfish Head:

Milton, DE ., March 27, 2018 -  Looking for one of the best brewery tours in the nation?  According to the 3rd annual USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice awards, Dogfish Head has got you covered!  The brewery is proud to share they’ve been named a top winner in the contest for Best Brewery Tour.  After four weeks of daily online voting, the publication announced that fans voted Dogfish Head as the #2 brewery tour in the country.

The USA Today site states, “The first-come, first-served free tours of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery offer a laid-back journey through the working brewhouse, cellars and bottling line for a chance to watch the magic happen. For beer lovers, grain to glass tours go into normally off-limits parts of the facilities, including cold storage, the grain handling room and the barrel-aging room.”

Guests know they’re in for an exploration of goodness when they arrive at Dogfish Head and see the Steampunk Treehouse, outdoor fermenters, food truck and bocce courts.  Led by knowledgeable Experience Guides, brewery tours last about an hour and include a behind-the-scenes look at the production brewery and Dogfish Head Distilling Co.  With a lineup of rotating taps, visitors will find the freshest off-centered ales in all the land – available for tastings, full pours, and crowler and growler fills.  Imbibe on one of the Tasting Room exclusives crafted on the R&D brewing system, or reach for a pint from Rack AeriAle, a specialized barrel-aged, nitrogen draft system. Created by Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione in collaboration with AC Beverage, there’s only one other system that exists in the United States.  Visitors can also swing by the Dogfish Merch Shop to pick up beer, gear and whatnot.  From t-shirts to tap handles, and hats to stickers, all sorts of off-centered items are available for purchase.
