Holiday Favorite, St-Feuillien Cuvée de Noël Arrives In U.S. For WinterFrom St Feuillien:

North America (December 18, 2017) –  Brasserie St-Feuillien is celebrating the season again with its outstanding holiday classic Cuvée de Noël. Regarded as one of the world's top Christmas Ales, this beer is available now and through the winter months of 2018. In limited supply, the beer is available in kegs only and is on tap at select Belgian bars across the country.

“This year we are offering a limited quantity of Cuvée de Noël draft beer to satisfy a small but growing list of dedicated Belgian beer bars that have told us they want it back,” says Lanny Hoff, SVP of Artisanal Imports. “If this goes well, our plan is to offer both kegs and bottles in the coming years. If you see it, order it then and there because there just aren't that many kegs in the United States!"

Dark brown, rich and full-bodied, this is a beer to savor and share with friends. Weighing in at 9% ABV it pours with a generous head, compact and firm. Its dark ruby brown color is the result of roasted barley and it presents an intense aroma of herbs and spices.

The beer is full-bodied with a smoothness resulting from the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. There is a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavor in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between the different ingredients.

“Winter is here and we’re happy to send you our season’s greetings through this outstanding St-Feuillien Cuvée de Noël,” says Pierre Hensenne, Export Manager for Brasserie St-Feuillien. “It’s limited, it’s now, and cheers to our American friends and happy holidays!”

Brasserie St-Feuillien (pronounced FOO-yen) of Le Roeulx, Belgium stands out not only because it’s been producing top-quality abbey ales since 1873, but it has remained in the same family for its entire tenure, save for an 11-year hiatus from 1977 to 1988. The Friart family is now in its fourth generation of ownership, ensuring the abbey brewery’s values of consistent quality and time-honored tradition hold true.

About Brasserie St-Feuillien: Brasserie St-Feuillien ("Foo-Yen") is the maker of some of the world’s most highly regarded Abbey Ales including the notable St-Feuillien Grand Cru, Saison, Blonde, Brune and Tripel. The brewery started in the 7th century, when an Irish monk named Foylan, a name which later morphed into the more French "Feuillien", was killed in the village of Le Roeulx. A chapel was built in his honor that became the Abbey St-Feuillien du Roeulx. The St-Feuillien brewery has been operated by the Friart family since 1873, and its beer is among Belgium's oldest and most authentic Abbey Ales. Learn more at www.st-feuillien.com.
