Forbidden Root is proud to announce the addition of Kevin McGillen as chief operations officer. McGillen’s position focuses on sales and operations. He brings over 15 years of experience in all aspects of craft beer, IT, operations, logistics, sales and sales management to this new position.

McGillen comes to Forbidden Root from Two Brothers Brewing Company, where he served as vice president of operations, and worked across several business units implementing best practices to increase revenue and control expenses. He previously served as director of operations for Windy City Distributing.

“We are happy to welcome Kevin to the Forbidden Root team,” said owner Robert Finkel. “His business acuity and pattern of organizing and implementing growth in both process and in revenue will be a strong addition to Forbidden Root’s successful and growing business.”

McGillen’s hard work and commitment to craft beer carried him from sales to warehouse management to executive level management. McGillen, a disabled veteran, is an advocate for both veteran causes and diabetes research.
