Exciting distribution news coming from Terrapin Beer in Athens, GA:
10/19 - Athens, GA --Terrapin Beer Co. launches in select Wisconsin markets this week (October 20th, 2017) with draft placements of Hopsecutioner IPA, including at the Riverside Theater during the Widespread Panic shows (10/20-22).
It seems fitting for Terrapin to launch during Widespread Panic’s tour, since both the band and the brewery call Athens, GA., home. Hopsecutioner will be available in the beer garden at Riverside Theater. If you didn’t get tickets for the sold out shows, you’re in luck. Terrapin will be available at other select locations in Milwaukee.
Terrapin’s launch isn’t just about the Athens connection though. “We’re excited to be moving into one of the ‘beer states.’ Wisconsin has a rich brewing past and present, and it’ll be fun to be a part of it,” says Dustin Watts, VP of Sales and Marketing.
For now, Hopsecutioner will be available on draft in Milwaukee and Madison, with package and other brands to follow in early 2018.
ABOUT TERRAPIN BEER CO.
Terrapin Beer Co. began as a daydream between founders John Cochran and Spike Buckowski, who brewed and released their first beer, Rye Pale Ale, in 2002. Six months after it’s release, the beer made it to Denver for GABF, where John and Spike took home a Gold Medal for Rye Pale Ale in the American Pale Ale Category.
Inspired by the creative culture of Athens, Terrapin began to add to its beer lineup, with unique beers like W-n-B, Hopsecutioner, and many others. Today, Rye Pale Ale is accompanied by six other year-round beers, four seasonal sessions, and at least a dozen special projects, side projects and collaborations.
Whether you’re joining us for a brewery tour at our tasting room, drinking a Hopsecutioner at your favorite watering hole, sipping some Hi-5 on your back porch, or enjoying a RecreationAle after a long day on the trail, we hope you appreciate the dedication we’ve put in for 15 years (and counting!)
