Exciting canned murky IPA news (and my vote for beer-name-of-the-day) coming from Council Brewing in San Diego, CA:
When you're desperate for a juicy beer, we've got you covered with Beg for Murky, a hazy Imperial IPA. This overwhelmingly tasty IPA is available on draft and in 16oz, 4-pack cans starting Saturday, September 23rd at 11am in the Council Brewing Tasting Room.
This release is a collaboration brew with our friends from Aslin Beer Company located in Herndon, Virginia. We were introduced to Co-Owners & Brewers Andrew and Kai through a former Council beertender, Kenny. A couple months later they reached out to three local San Diego breweries to organize collaboration brews. Well known for their hoppy, hazy can releases, we quickly jumped on board. This Saturday, we are thrilled to be releasing “Beg for Murky,” a Hazy Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) dry-hopped with Citra & Hallertau Blanc Hops in 4 packs as well as draft.
Beg for Murky | Hazy IIPA | 7.8% ABV
Hops: Citra and Haller Tau Blanc
4 Pack (16 oz. Cans): $17.99

STAIRCASE OF EVERLASTING PLUMS RELEASE
As our brewers march up and down the staircase at the Magic Factory adding fruit to our barrels and fermenters, the process seems to be endless. For this reason, they have dubbed it the Staircase of Everlasting fruit.
Our second installment in the Staircase of Everlasting fruit series, following Staircase of Everlasting Peaches, is Staircase of Everlasting Plums. This golden sour ale aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels with plums has a light golden sour base, providing a resplendent showcase for the perpetual flavor of plums in every sip. The stone and tropical fruit notes derived from the Sauvignon Blanc barrels provide added complexity. Tannins from the plum skins and oak, as well as oak vanilla round out this mesmerizing sour ale.
Online Pre-Sale: Monday, September 25th at 12pm via store.councilbrew.com.
Bottle Release Party: Thursday, September 28th at 2pm in the Council Tasting Room.
750ml Bottle: $21.99
I’ve also added in the packaging for Hazing Cane doubel dry-hopped IPA (6%-AbV, 16oz cans).
