Crooked Stave, Molly’s Spirits & Laws Whiskey House Collaborate On Barrel-Aged Nightmare on Brett

Molly’s Spirits will be releasing a barrel aged collaboration with Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project and Laws Whiskey House The collaboration beer involves Crooked Stave’s Nightmare on Brett, which is aged in an A.D. Laws Whiskey Four Grain barrel. The result is a demonic dark sour, dominated by dark fruit aromas and flavors, with underlying cacao notes melded with an acidic tart berry finish that comes in at 9.7% ABV.

The barrel aged Nightmare on Brett collaboration will available in 750 ml bottles at Molly’s Spirits. Limited quantities will also be available at the Crooked Stave Taproom.

To celebrate the release of the collaboration, Molly’s Spirits is throwing a release party on Saturday August 26th from 3 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. where Crooked Stave brews paired with hors d’oeuvres will be available. Not only will guests be able to sample the collaboration with Crooked Stave and Laws Whiskey House, Crooked Stave’s Colorado WildSage Brett Saison, St. Bretta Citrus Saison, and Hop Savant Brettanyomyces IPA will also be available.
