From Saint Arnold:
On June 9, 1994, we shipped our first keg of Amber Ale and with that, Saint Arnold Brewing Company was officially open. Our small, dedicated crew worked to build community through our passion for great beer.
The Saint Arnold Army of volunteers and craft beer lovers like you helped spread the word, and our small brewery grew slowly but steadily. This is the reason we are here today and why we invite you to join us each year in celebrating what we have created together!
We've got a whole weekend of 23rd Anniversary festivities at the brewery Friday June 9 - Sunday, June 11. Here's what to expect:
23rd Anniversary Pub Night
Friday, June 9 | Open Till 10:00 PM
Friday, June 9 is our actual 23rd birthday, and it's always nice when your birthday falls on a Friday, isn't it? We'll be open our normal Friday hours, so you can come see us any time between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Admission to our Beer Hall is free.
At 5:00 PM, we'll be tapping a couple of special casks - something classic and something new. Cask Conditioned Amber Ale with Citra Hops and Cask Conditioned Pub Crawl Pale Ale with Mandarina Hops and Lemon will both be available.
We'll be hosting the world's largest (probably) Rock Paper Scissors tournament. The tournament starts at 7:30 PM, and the winner will be showered with lavish Saint Arnold prizes. There's no charge to enter the tournament - just be here on time with your hands limbered up.
We'll also debut a special 23rd Anniversary pint glass, and for $10 you can get the glass and a pint of beer to go in it! Of course, our kitchen will be serving delicious eats throughout the evening to pair with your beer, so come hungry. We hope you can join us!
Our 23rd Anniversary Party
Saturday, June 10 | 4:00 - 10:00 PM
To celebrate 23 years of brewing independently in Houston, our 23rd Anniversary Party will feature the Local & Independent Music Showcase with all local, all independent bands and artists on two stages at the brewery. We are proud to host a 100% Houston lineup - one of the largest collections of all local music in one place.
