From Hill Farmstead:
Beginning Wednesday, April 26, we will release Birth of Tragedy: Akmel Nuri in our bottle shop. Birth of Tragedy: Akmel Nuri is an imperial porter brewed with honey and aged in bourbon barrels on Akmel Nuri's coffee from Limu Kosa, Jimma in Ethiopia.
We have chosen two barrels of Birth of Tragedy as the base for this single origin coffee experiment. After aging for 20 months in select bourbon barrels, we conditioned this beer atop Akmel Nuri's Ethiopian coffee beans sourced and roasted by The Coffee Collective in Copenhagen, Denmark. These friends long ago changed our worldview as to what coffee could be. After months of bottle conditioning, the beer is ready for release.
375ml, $20, limit 1 per person (credit card and matching ID required, please see our bottle release policy).
We are open in Retail on Wednesday - Saturday, from 12 p.m - 5 p.m.
