In December we announced that we were partnering once again with America on Tap to bring back our Snommegang Invitational Beer Festival for another year of beery, wintery fun. This year’s event is Saturday, March 11 from 2-6 pm on Main Street in Oneonta, NY.
Tickets to the tasting portion of Snommegang are $50 each and are available now on the event website, Snommegang.com. Day-of tickets will be $55. Snommegang sold out last year so we advise getting tickets in advance.
More than 30 breweries and their representatives from across the United States will each pour at least two of their best offerings at the event. The beer tasting is accompanied by live music, food and activities – all within heated tents along Muller Plaza and surrounding businesses on Main Street. Music and activities in Muller Plaza are free and open to the public.
America On Tap Beer Festivals is the first and only national live event series dedicated to showcasing specialty and craft breweries from around the globe, while also delivering authentic, craft beer-focused experiences filled with live music, great vendors, and delicious local food.
“Snommegang has become one of the region’s most anticipated winter events,” says Ommegang president Doug Campbell. “We in Upstate NY take tremendous pride and delight in our long, snowy winters, and we can think of no better way to celebrate the season than to host and event that pours the best beer in the world right here in Oneonta.”
