Pisgah Brewing Releasing Chocolatized Winter 2016 12/15

Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain, NC is set to release their award winning Chocolatized Vortex II (which is officially now only known as Chocolatized) in 22oz bottles and on draft on Thursday, December 15^th at their taproom in Black Mountain, NC. Bottles will be $12 each, and the release will begin at 6pm.

Chocolatized can be considered one of many unconventional beers made in Pisgah Brewing’s long history –a Russian Imperial Stout aged on raw cocoa nibs from French Broad Chocolate Factory of Asheville – and it brought home a Gold Medal in the Chocolate Beer category at The Great American Beer Festival in 2014. Rich notes of roasted malts, coffee and, of course, chocolate entice the palate for sip after sip, lending to a crisp bitterness and full bodied mouth-feel. Accompanied with a black color and perfect head retention, the Winter 2016 edition of Chocolatized lives up to the occasion.

Live Music will be provided for the occasion by the Aaron Austin Trio, led by guitarist Aaron Austin of local favorites The Broadcast. Music will begin on the Indoor Stage at 7pm sharp.
