From Clown Shoes:
Clown Shoes Beer
has opened up distribution in South Florida with Crafty Connoisseurs Distributing, as of mid-November. Approaching their 7 year anniversary this December, Clown Shoes is known for its unique and unconventional approach to craft beer, as well as their comic book style artwork and sense of humor. With beer styles such as their Mangö Kölsch (a light, crisp Kölsch brewed with mango), Chocolate Sombrero (a “Mexican style chocolate stout” brewed with vanilla, cinnamon, and ancho chiles) and Undead Party Crasher (a 10% imperial oatmeal milk stout brewed with smoked malts), their approach has been to brew traditional beer styles with unique twists. Their beers are currently being brewed in Ipswich, Massachusetts and they have distribution in over 25 states.
“We’ve had our eye on Florida for quite some time now” says Director of Operations Matt Smith. “A few years ago, we had exclusive distribution through the Total Wine retail chain, but now we’ve opened up distribution with Crafty Connoisseurs Distributing in the southern part of the state because we wanted more access to draft lines and other retail outlets. Crafty is a great fit for us because of their dedication to craft beer and focus on the high-quality brands they distribute.”
“We could not be more excited to partner up with such an outstanding brewery like Clown Shoes” – said Jonathan Myer Sales Manager of Crafty Connoisseurs Distributing “Their attention to producing only high quality beers mirrors our companies philosophy of doing business. We pride ourselves on only carrying TRUE craft brands that we would drink ourselves and feel we have the obligation to bring South Florida that alone…” Look for Clown Shoes beers to start hitting your favorite craft beer store as well as on tap at select locations starting next week. Also be on the look out for tap takeovers, pint nights and in-store tastings to kick off the launch of this amazing brewery.”
