Goose Island Fulton & Wood - Bee Squad Coming 6/22

imageFrom Goose Island:

At the corner of Fulton & Wood streets in Chicago, Goose Island’s original brewery has been a hub of innovation since its doors opened.  To this day, the spirit of experimentation remains strong with the Fulton & Wood series.  The next beer in the Fulton and Wood series is Bee Squad.

Bee Squad is a Biere de Miel traditionally brewed with honey. Bee Squad has a saison-like base combined with honey and apricot essences.  In the end, the beer is easy drinking and has a nice complexity for an 8% ABV beer.

Please join the Bee Squad and the rest of Goose Island at the J Parker for a celebration of this limited release.

100% of the ticket sales will benefit The Chicago Honey Co-op Training Center.

The Chicago Honey Co-op Training Center was started as a way to expand the educational efforts begun by Chicago Honey Co-op. Beekeeping education and training has always been a part of what the Co-op is about but keeping bees and selling honey are full time occupations. Starting an education focused partner non-profit was a way to bring their beekeeping knowledge to more people.
