CINCINNATI, OH (March 1, 2016) – MadTree Brewing, the first modern craft brewery in Ohio to can its beers, has a Public Service Announcement about their canned beer lineup. PSA, which actually stands for Proper Session Ale, is the newest offering in their year-round canned beer portfolio. However, PSA is designed to be a Public Service Announcement that craft beer can be both thoughtful and approachable. You may choose to dissect the variety of citrus, dank, and tropical fruit hop flavors or to simply enjoy the proper balance between malt sweetness and body that PSA delivers. At 4.5% ABV and 30 IBU, this is sure to delight craft beer fans of all persuasions.

“PSA has been a fun project since it evolved from brewer Matt Rowe’s homebrew recipe into full commercial production -- with about a dozen tweaks along the way,” said MadTree Brewing co-founder, Brady Duncan. “PSA was designed from the beginning to be a satisfying lower alcohol beer and not simply a watered-down version of a bigger pale ale or IPA.”

imageAlready available on a limited basis on draft, cans will first be available for purchase in the MadTree Taproom on Thursday, March 3, with a limit of one case of cans per person.  Cans and wider draft distribution to restaurants, bars, and retailers begins the week of March 7.

The Taproom launch will feature a special food menu from Catch-A-Fire Café and 50% of proceeds from PSA can, t-shirt, and poster sales will be donated to a non-profit charity.
