On Monday, February 22, Bud Light Lime-A-Rita celebrated National Margarita Day with the launch of its most significant advertising and marketing campaign since brand launched in 2012, “Fiesta Ready.” The new campaign celebrates those special moments when a margarita can change any occasion in truly unexpected ways.

To celebrate those margarita moments, Lime-A-Rita brought the party to an occasion where consumers least expected it, but needed it the most – a long commute home after a hard day at the office. Lime-A-Rita took over Vanderbilt Hall inside of Grand Central Terminal in New York City for the ultimate happy hour fiesta. Commuters enjoyed the perfect “margarita moment” with an adult sized ball pit, entertainment from awesome break-dancers, and had the chance to sample product. DJ PROSTYLE and Swizz Beatz helped get the crowd energized with heart pounding beats, and Lime-A-Rita National Margarita Day spokesperson, Gabrielle Union, stopped by to kick things off. Fans shared their photos on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using #NationalMargaritaDay.

In addition to hosting the unexpected pop-up event at Grand Central, Gabrielle Union conducted a series of media interviews throughout the day, discussing some of her margarita moments and her love for Lime-A-Rita.
