Deschutes Signs With Penn Beer For NW PA Distribution

Deschutes Brewery announced it has assigned primary distribution for Northwestern Pennsylvania starting April 1st with Penn Beer Company. This news comes one week after the brewery announced its Michigan expansion plans.

“We’ve been selling beer in Northwestern PA for just over a year now via a sub-distribution agreement,” remarked Deschutes’ Jeremy Kieffer, Mid-Atlantic Sr Market Manager. “At first we went into the market to further develop our chain distribution, but quickly saw how much potential the market has.  Servicing Northwestern PA directly will give us increased line of sight to our business, and allow us to better honor our customers by getting fresher beer into market faster.  Penn Beer Company has done a tremendous job representing our brands over the past year, and we cannot wait to begin working with them more closely.”

Penn Beer Company will be distributing Deschutes Brewery’s damn tasty beers throughout Clarion, Erie, Forest and Venango counties. The company will begin by offering Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Chainbreaker White IPA, Fresh Squeezed IPA, as well as Deschutes' seasonal lineup and variety packs, and will look to add additional brands over time.
