SweetWater Whiplash IPA Returns In Cans, More Bourbon Imperial Stout & Brew Your Cask Off

From SweetWater:

Everyone's favorite Winter seasonal Whiplash is headed back to shelves later this month in bottles and, for the first time ever, #SweetCans!

It'll also be available in the Winter Tackle Box alongside 420, IPA, Hop Hash and Georgia Brown and the CAN Winter Tackle Box with 420, IPA and Georgia Brown. That's right, Georgia Brown is coming to cans too. Who was complaining about Christmas coming earlier every year?

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was a smash(ed) success, so we're making more of it. Plan is basically brew it whenever we have barrel space and release it whenever it's ready. Unfortunately both those things are pretty unpredictable so there won't be a set schedule, but you can trust that we'll have a somewhat steady supply of the black gold flowing out the door.

By now you know we had to cancel Brew Your Cask Off due to some regulatory issues (if not, now ya do). That left us with a cask itch to scratch though, so in its place we're pitting our brewers against each other in a Thunderdome-style cask competition to the death. Or something like that.

Saturday, November 14 is the date, 1:30 pm is the time and $25 is the cost. That gets you admission, 10 tasting samples (little smaller than tour pours because of limited supply of cask brews plus DOR regulation), a snazzy sample-sized snifter and the ultimate power to decide the winning cask.

That's right, your vote will determine who goes home with the glory and who just goes home. Tickets are limited to 250 folks so get em before they're gone
right here.
