New Contest Offers $30,000 in Cash Prizes for Videos Showcasing American Traditions and How Enjoying a PBR Makes Them a One-of-a-Kind Experience

SEATTLE, WA Nov 4, 2015 - Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) is looking to reimagine some of America's oldest traditions and is turning to Zooppa's 350,000+ creative community for inspiration. For the contest, PBR asks filmmakers to select one of the label designs from their American Traditions Collection and create a video showcasing a unique, personal take on that tradition. A total of $30,000 in cash prizes will be awarded for the winning entries and the public can submit videos by registering on the Zooppa website.

Winning submissions will be distributed to the public through PBR's digital and social media channels. Filmmakers may submit a video up to 45 seconds in length in as many categories as they choose. The creators of the winning entries will also be asked to submit a 15 second edited version of their film after the competition concludes. The deadline for entries is December 15, 2015.

Since its founding more than 170 years ago, PBR has been one of America's favorite beers. Started by father Jacob Best and his sons, the company was officially named Pabst Blue Ribbon in 1898 because of all of the first place blue ribbons it won. For PBR, tradition is everything, and this holiday season they have decided to highlight their part in American life by unveiling the American Traditions Collection. PBR is now engaging Zooppa's online creative community to showcase how enjoying a PBR during one of these traditions makes for a truly original, American experience.
