Ohio Valley Wrestling, the regions premiere professional wrestling organization, presents “Brews and
Bruises”, sponsored by Against The Grain Brewery and Dauntless Distributing. Brews and
Bruises is a professional wrestling event unlike any other, as it will coincide with the latest
Against The Grain Brewery release of Poffo Pils. “This beer is our homage to the timeless, native
Kentuckian's, the Poffo family. The Poffo family includes wrestling greats Angelo, Lannie 'The
Genius', and Randy 'Macho Man Savage' Poffo.”
Against The Grain is Louisville's premiere micro brewery and brewpub. AtG is widely known
for producing world class beers, with distribution spanning the globe. In its 4 short years of
existence, AtG has garnered numerous awards, including being named Kentucky's best
brewery/brewpub, Kentucky's best beer, and RateBeer's top 100 Breweries in the world.
Dauntless Distributing boasts a similar path, in that it is AtG's exclusive distribution partner in
Kentucky and has been instrumental in introducing and growing the artisan craft beer market in
Louisville, as well as the state of Kentucky.
'Brews and Bruises', as this wrestling extravaganza is aptly named, will be an event unlike any
other. It features a soiree of matches including many stars from around the USA. Events of note
are a one night tag team tournament including internationally known tag champions The Wolves,
Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards and former WWE and ROH tag champions Charlie Haas and
Shelton Benjamin better known as the World’s Greatest Tag Team. In addition to these amazing
matches, the card will include a grudge match between our Brewmaster's Jerry Gnagy and
Andrew Ott vs. The Dauntless Distributing team, featuring Michael Minton and Atticus Coleman.
The event is the culmination of a storyline developing weekly on Ohio Valley Wrestling TV and
from the creative teams at Against The Grain and Dauntless Distributing. In addition to the
matches, AtG and Dauntless are proud to include the release, for the first time ever, Poffo Pils in
a 16oz can. This beer, which is classic, crisp, and undeniably drinkable, will be be available at
Against The Grain prior to the match and in the concessions at the match on 11/21 at Slugger
Field.
This event is a dream come true for the teams at AtG and Dauntless, in that we are combining
some of the most important cultural influences that have defined our teams. We were developed
by the idea of good guys and bad guys; and that the good guys must prevail...but with a fight of
course. We are young (but nearly middle aged) guys with a great passion for what we do, but
with all the irreverence of our middle school aged selves and love nothing more than bringing the
great influence of professional wrestling to our customers and any one else willing to take a step
back and have some fun!
We implore everyone who has ever enjoyed the classic wrestling events that we sat entranced and
watched as kids, to join us. We implore those who would sneak and stay up late watching the
Monday night main events, we implore the folks who dreamed of stepping into the squared circle

Main St. Louisville, KY. This ticketed event has a limited number of seats and tickets are on
