The Timberwolves asked Minnesota to Bring the Nice this season. Surly answered the call.
In an unprecedented move for Minnesota craft beer, Surly Brewing Co. is extremely proud to launch its sponsorship of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx this December!
The stars aligned for this partnership over the last few months. Surly already had a new beer in development for 2025 called (wait for it) Nice Beer. When the Timberwolves launched their Bring The Nice campaign, we knew we could take it one step further.
Not only will you be able to find Surly favorites like Furious and Mosh Pit Hazy IPA throughout Target Center starting this season, but we’ll roll out an EXCLUSIVE stadium tallboy can for Nice Beer, featuring the team colors and Bring the Nice slogan, just in time for the holidays.
As for the beer itself, Nice is balanced and approachable. Not too hoppy, not too bland. If you want to call it a beer-flavored beer, go right ahead. To us, it tastes like victory.

This Thursday, December 19th, the Timberwolves host the New York Knicks and Karl-Anthony Towns. Tip off it at 8:30pm but head to the beer hall for a pregame party and a chance to try a Nice Beer tallboy (must be 21 or older, of course).
Party starts at 5pm!
