In August, Flat12 announced they would be releasing Deflator Dopplebock at their Ultimate Tailgate Party for the Colts vs. Patriots game on October 18th. Today they’ve announced they'll not only have the beer on draft, but will also be releasing limited edition cans. These 16oz cans will be available for purchase at both Flat12 taprooms, AND at Lucas Oil Stadium for the big game! All tailgate attendees planning to take the Indy Brew Bus shuttle from the Flat12 Indianapolis Taproom to Lucas Oil Stadium will also get a 16oz can of Deflator Dopplebock with their ticket.
Flat12 created the Deflator Doppelbock cans to celebrate the Colts and cheer them on to another victorious season with a more justified season’s end. "The Deflator Doppelbock cans are a preview of Flat12 Bierwerk's new look. A stylish and refined design that better showcases the liquid inside." said Sean Manahan, Brewmaster.
About the Flat12 Indianapolis Ultimate Tailgate Party
Flat12 will be hosting the ultimate tailgate at the brewery for the October 18th Colts vs. Patriots game. From 2-8p, Smoking Goose Meatery will fire up their smoker and have amazing grill-ready meats for purchase, including their specially created Doppelbock Bacon Brat -- a chedder cheese bacon sage mustard brat made with the Flat12 Deflator brew. Attendees are encouraged to bring their grills and tailgate supplies and grill out and chill out in the biergarten. Pre-game coverage, football games, free play ping pong and cornhole tournaments are sure to keep you entertained, and don't miss local Americana bluegrass band, Big Foot Yancey playing in the biergarten from 5-7p!
Flat12 is extending hours and will show the BIG game on the BIG screen with kickoff at 8:00p.
Indy Brew Bus Shuttle
If you're lucky enough to have tickets to the Game-of-the-Season, Flat12 has partnered with Indy Brew Bus to shuttle you and your group to the stadium with return trip to Flat12. For $20, you can hop aboard and have a 16oz can of Deflator Doppelbock on your way to Lucas Oil Stadium, then you'll be safely dropped off back at the taproom at the end of the evening. You can park your car free of charge at Flat12, so just sit back and enjoy the ultimate hassle-free tailgate experience. $20 shuttle tickets are available on Eventbrite and in the taproom. Beginning at 7pm, the bus will run from Flat12 to Lucas Oil. Ticket includes a pre-game 16oz can of Deflator Doppelbock on the bus, free parking at Flat12 and post-game return trip from the stadium.
