Hangar 24 - 2015 Pro-Am “Backyard Blonde” Coming 9/12

Saturday, September 12th we release “Backyard Blonde” and will have bands playing throughout the day for the Desert Stars Festival Pre-Party

Next Saturday we are releasing the 2015 Pro-Am “Backyard Blonde,” based on Jaclyn Sweet’s winning entry in this year’s Homebrew Competition. Jaclyn was on site to help us brew the large batch and provided guidance in adapting the recipe and selecting ingredients. This spicy, three grain saison based gruit is brewed with wild yarrow, lemon verbena, coriander, and chamomile. The refreshing beer has flavors of citrus zest, mint, lavender and herbal tea, and finishes with a hint of candy sweetness. Backyard Blonde is a great beer to finish summer and ring in the coming fall.
