MKE Brewing Co. releases 2015 Walk Off Tripel

Summer is officially here and so is MKE Brewing Co’s second release for their limited edition Destination Local Series, Walk Off Tripel. Like the rare play in baseball, this beer is dramatic, exciting and a game changer. Fermented with a true Belgian yeast strain this blonde ale has fruity aromas, earthy tones and a crisp dry mouth feel with hints of tangerine, apples and anise. Bright effervescent carbonation from the bottle conditioning dances across the palate and playfully masks the 8% ABV. Hints of yeast play in a refreshing backdrop of wheat and oats marrying all the flavors and aromas together rounding out to warm finish. Like all the Destination Local Series, Walk Off Tripel is available in 750ml bottles. Walk Off Tripel will be available in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and North Dakota.

Look for these additions to the limited release Destination Local Series throughout the year: Recombobulation Imperial Black Ale, Louie’s Cherry Bounce and Elf’s Lament Spiced Belgian Dubbel.

About the Destination Local Series
Some of the finest craft beers in the country can be found right here in the Midwest. “Buying Local” no longer means around the corner or across town. We want to take craft beer drinkers on a journey with different styles of beer by pushing the boundaries with barrel aging and utilizing unique blends of malts, hops and spice. The Destination Local series is a true artisanal approach to craft brewing. Small, handcrafted, limited release batches where you can explore different styles without ever checking a bag or sitting in the dreaded middle seat.
