Here’s your first look at the first beer in a new series of wood-aged beers coming from Terrapin. This new series is called Ales From The Wood and this first release is named Richland Reserve. This beer is 2014 vintage HopZilla Double IPA that is aged in Richland Rum barrels for over a year. The beer uses Bravo, Chinook & Centennial hops as well as a Citra hop dry-hopping and there will be only 400 cases released. Look for Richland Reserve to be packaged in 22oz bottles and based on HopZilla, I expect this 2015 release will come in at 10.7%-AbV and 110 IBU. Stay tuned for release details and start the timer to see how quickly the other guys copy this post!
