Moylan’s Brewing is delighted to announce we are answering the call of craft beer lovers with the formal rollout for the first time ever of cans of the award-winning Moylan’s Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale.

Cans of Kilt Lifter are now available in seven states – Calif., Okla., N.D., S.D., N.C., Iowa and La. Beginning July 1st, we will move into wide scale distribution when we add Montana to the growing list of states where you will be able to purchase cans. By the end of the year we expect to offer cans in a total of eleven states as we add store shelves in Colorado, New Mexico, Hawaii and Minnesota.

In addition to expanding, we are also greening. Our move to cans not only enables us to deliver the best possible product to our customers, but it’s also beneficial to the planet.

  • cans they take up less space on retailer shelves
  • cans are less expensive to ship
  • they are portable and break proof
  • cans are 100% recyclable and reusable
  • cans protect the beer from degrading light, ensuring longer life and better taste
  • cans cool faster

Moylan’s joins the growing movement of more than 500 breweries* who have made the jump to cans as part of efforts to green-ify. Marin Brewing will be doing the same later this year.

We will still make our beers available in 22-ounce environmentally friendly recyclable glass bombers. Those are currently available in 14 states as well as Australia, Japan, Italy, England, Canada, Brazil and Denmark.
