Known as the premier craft beer and food pairing event in the U.S., SAVOR brings together thousands of beer lovers and foodies alike.

Attendees will enjoy culinary combinations specially designed to pair with craft beers from a geographically diverse lineup of 73 small and independent craft breweries. Guests will have the opportunity to converse with brewery owners and the personalities behind the craft brewed beer being served.

When:             Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, 2015

7:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET

Where:            National Building Museum
401 F Street NW
Washington, D.C. 20001

Who:               Small and independent craft brewers from around the country

· 28 states and Washington, D.C. are represented

· 45 percent of breweries are first time SAVOR participants

· 67 percent of the participating breweries were not at SAVOR last year

Chef Adam Dulye, Brewers Association executive chef and co-author of CraftBeer.com’s Beer & Food Course, created the food pairing menu with collaboration from several world class chefs, Cicerones and Brewers Association staff.

Why:               As craft brewers continue to innovate and expand, the industry has gained considerable attention. SAVOR celebrates the success of small and independent craft brewers and their flavor forward creations by showcasing the harmonization and synergy between craft beer and food. Guests are given the opportunity to enjoy a sampling of appetizers and craft beers from over 70 small and independent craft breweries while conversing with the luminaries of the craft beer industry. Additionally, SAVOR offers the opportunity to participate in directed tasting Salons, providing attendees with behind the scenes access to the craft beer world. This unique experience allows beer and food lovers to gain a better understanding of the diverse offerings from today’s small and independent brewers and illustrates how well craft beer and food complement one another.
