Buellton, CA - American craft brewery, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company, is coming to Germany. Owners Jaime and Jim Dietenhofer are excited to go back to their roots as they evaluate potential site selections for a new European brewery in the Bavarian region of Germany. “We have been approached to bring our California craft beer to Europe due to the high demand for American-style beers as of late. It’s the perfect time to bring our New World style of beer to Germany as well as having the opportunity to learn from their rich history of brewing. We are looking forward to brewing a new line of European beers such as Dunkelweiss, Marzen, Weissbier and other lagers,” explains President Jaime Dietenhofer, “with the potential to import these beers back to the United States.”
Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. will be pouring two of their best-selling beers, Davy Brown Ale and Lizard’s Mouth Imperial India Pale Ale, at Die Braukunst Live!, the largest beer festival in Germany, from March 6-8, 2015. Owner Jaime Dietenhofer will be pouring at Booth #86 and looks forward to introducing local beer lovers to California craft beer.
