Upslope Releases Christmas Ale 2014

Upslope Brewing Company‘s Christmas Ale is back and coming down the chimney just in time for the holidays. The Limited Release Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with holiday spices will decorate liquor store shelves in Colorado, Wyoming, Texas and Arizona starting the first week in November in four-packs of 16 oz. cans.

“When I think of our Christmas Ale, I’m taken back to my homebrew days when I would tote a couple of bomber bottles of this recipe into my friends’ holiday parties. It was my offering to the season – something that I created and wanted to share,” said Matt Cutter, Upslope’s Founder. “Since then, our brewers have perfected this warming, Abbey-style ale brewed with holiday spices that we share with fans each season.”

In true Christmas fashion, the beer pours deep ruby red with an off-white headstand that laces the glass with each sip. A blend of holiday spices and dark dried fruit creates a distinctive holiday aroma that is complemented by spicy notes from the Abbey Ale Yeast. The rich malt flavor of this medium bodied, 8.2% abv ale will be sure to keep you warm all winter long.

“Pre-wrapped” in a festive 16 oz. red ribbon-striped can, Upslope Christmas Ale is the perfect gift for spreading holiday cheer. Don’t put off sampling this beer, it is only around for a limited time!
